[Problem] New Win 10 Creative - build. LC crashing my PC

I installed today new Win10 OS update and when I try start LC game causing system crashing when from launcher I need to see Welcome screen of LC to login.

I wanna report that. just that. Hoping for future fixes. All other apps working good, problem is just LC.

My laptop running Windows 10 Insider Preview was having issues and would BSOD every time I launched LC. Since it's a preview version of Windows, I didn't really pay it any mind, but it may become more of an issue if it affects the mainstream Windows 10 updates somewhere down the line. What might temporarily work for you, if that's the case, is going back to an earlier build until the issue is identified.
For me it was a SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and X6va063 is what failed.

If it's an Win10 update, then Microsoft have obviously changed something, that's causing this.

Gospodia, would you be willing to make a video of what happens, and then send Vilya and Scimitar a link to the video? The video might help them to determine the why's and wherefores of the problem.

So far with LC has always, when new Windows OS comes out, this problem. I personally think it's on X-Trap to resolve this. My other games works on this Win OS.

So I think fix will come soon when new Win10 Creative come for masses. I love new Win 10 update, so I'll wait till this fix come out. I'm just reporting this problem-bug and that's all. Expect to responsible persons get known about this issue.

I tryed to change Compatibility modes but it not works. PC crashing every time I try run LC.

Side Note: Is anyone else using this distro of Windows and experiencing the same issue with Last Chaos?

Hi again,

We cannot find any information on this build of Windows you are saying you use. Please go into System Information on your PC and let us know the exact build of your Windows distro. We will need the OS name and Build information please.

In the meantime, please make sure all your drivers are up to date for your PC from the manufacturer's website. Make sure all your Windows updates are done. Scan with a malware scanner to ensure no malware is on your system. And please also check your Anti-Virus for removed or blocked Last Chaos files.

Right now I'm on Windows 10 Build 14971, same issue. If I had to guess, I've had the same issue as Gosp since builds 14955-14959 (Creators Update if that's what Gosp means.)
The issues I've had with preview builds of Windows 10 have usually been XTrap issues, most recently an issue with textinputframework.dll. Any time I'd type a character in the LC window the game would close and I'd get that XTrap error which made logging in very difficult...

@Gosp Have you tried going back to an earlier build and what OS build are you on right now? (You can find that under Settings > System > About)

Hi again,

We cannot offer support for Beta releases of Windows as they are often changed prior to official release. We encourage you to revert back to the Windows 10 installation which was working for you prior to this Beta update.

Thank you on nice response but I think guys of Xtrap should have something as solution for upcoming future!

I got my laptop 'untouched' by new beta OS so I'll stick with laptop playing my favorite game ever, Last Chaos!

When the Operating System update is not longer Beta, then a solution will be made. Beta versions are not final versions and can change very frequently.

This is why I stated we do not have support for Beta versions. Once it is a final build version, things will work fine.
