Unable to uninstall on Windows 7

I have a problem with the program and wanted to try uninstalling and re-installing. However, I've been unable to uninstall the program from either the control panel or the uninstall in the program. I was able to uninstall the one on wife's laptop (W10). How do you uninstall the program on W7?

You could always delete the directory its installed in then run a program like CCleaner to get ride of the registry entries. Reboot and then try to reinstall.

I had attempted to install over it so I could possibly uninstall or have the program work (missing EngineMP.dll). But the new one installed on C:/Program Files. I was able to uninstall that one from the control panel. So, I was confident your solution might work. When I moved the folder over, Last Chaos disappeared from the list in the control panel. It is in the other folder and I attempted to uninstall from the Start Button menu. Does the same thing as before. It opens the game and gives the option to "Continue" or "Cancel." But when I click on "Continue" it just closes without uninstalling the program.

The missing EngineMP.dll could have been eaten by your antivirus program. If you look in your quarantined files in your antivirus program you will most likely find that file is there. How to solve? Open up your anti virus program settings and exclude the LastChaosUS directory from being scanned (to prevent future issues every time LC patches). Restoring the file from being quarantined might or might not allow the uninstall to work but, the exemption should allow you to install over the old directory and include a fresh copy of the file.
Somewhere in these forums are instruction for how to do this in several different antivirus programs a search for anti virus should yield a plethora of information on it.

LastChaosUS/Bin is where the file is at. It was last updated in June so any change by LC to that file could trigger the antivirus program to quarantine it.

This is what I see.

Missing file is EntitiesMP.dll. I'll try to see if it is quarantined.
