Let me say thanks V for all the work you have done today
However I think the Company Plan was the Pits
All the setting up should have been done before this Place went live
But I do have a Suggestion that I think might help out the way they are now
Each Server Group has their own section, and will tend to just view that
There should be a General, Suggestion, Rant/Rave Forum which is not Server Group tied
So Players can, if they wish, interact more freely across All Servers
The only suggestion I have is I would like the recent activity to be controlled by the switches we set. I see all the posts from other languages which obscure the English posts.
Interesting suggestion. I do however see a kind of Tower of Babel effect here. If I understand you correctly, All these countries and there various languages would be coming into one area to communicate..... Wouldn't that just add to the confusion?
At the moment I could kick myself for not taking my language studies in High school seriously enough. Nothing makes a person feel more alone and inadequate than not being able to communicate. That aside...
Right now I am hesitant to make any suggestions only because I'm not quite sure what to make of all these changes. At the moment I think many of us are out of our comfort Zone and need to gain a sense of direction and routine. I know this change from local to global (as a result of the consolidation) has the potential for better ideas and greater understanding. There was mention of translation and other such communication aids. I'm taking a sit back, wait and see attitude. Since I dropped the ball on my language education there is nothing I can say accept good luck to those saddled with the responsibility of making this work.

That is not what the post says, the post says "If you log in using a smartphone, you will remain logged in" My guess is the user was not logging in via smartphone.
Do not attempt to put words into my mouth, what I said is precisely what I meant to say and no assumption was necessary.
Well actually i keep deleting my history and cache on my smartphone and guests are forced to register to costumize the view.
So this Forum shouldnt remain as it is now. There are quite a lot ppl who have the same disturbing feeling when they enter this forum.
Its strange that u think this forum is still welcoming as it was before . Be honest pls.

Considering it is only up and running for 2 days now, I feel people are not giving it a fair chance and are being far too critical. There are also many people who do not have any issues with the forums and are choosing to give them a fair shake. Change is inevitable in all manners of life, embrace them or be left behind as they will not stop because you are uncomfortable with them.
It is not that hard to log in via Smartphone, and that is me being honest.
I logged on this forum the first time today and didn't feel welcome at all.
This is the first english post i found. YAY
And +1 to suggestions above making this forum a nicer and more structured place to visit.
@Vilya. I am sure you are a PRO with forums. After all. it's part of your job. Have some mercy on the rest of us people that just pops in once a week

Pruss, there are a few helpful posts strewn about already to customize your forum experience. Most of the changes are in Edit Profile Section > Settings (to set default language) and Management > Forums on/off.
I'm not pro, but I do feel the need to give it a fair chance that is longer than 2 days.

I think real problem is that we're being told to give it a chance, when we shouldn't have to. It /should/ be the exact same as our previous forum. Also am I the only one who's missing the rundown of what occurs in each forum area? I see our espanol buddies have them, but we do not. And on top of that has anyone fixed the knights character info on the FAQ section or has it always been 3 lines?

Again, the forums are only 2 days old here. As for the content that is being moved from previous forums to here, that is done by the GM team and myself. We have far fewer people than most of the other teams, so it will take longer to get our content moved here.
Rather than being sarcastic and spiteful about issues you find, why not simply say "By the way, did you notice maybe the move for knights section didn't happen correctly?"
This is new to all of us, and with everyone we can find solutions. But only if everyone choose to be constructive instead of destructive. Should you give it a chance? Yes, gamigo has deemed this move necessary for them as a company and it will be made so. It is up to everyone (includng the staff) to make the most of it and figure out ways to help one another.
@StellaVanHenry All suggestions (other than "I don't like it, change it back") will be passed along to see if certain areas can be changed. We are willing to accept suggestions that are well thought out with valid reasons as to why things should be changed. Can I guarantee they will be implemented? No, but I can make a solid argument for them if given the chance.
All right then i will wait 2 more weeks. Lets say this was just a bad first impression and hope it gets better.

@Death we also hope it will become easier to navigate. If you have serious suggestions as to how this may be accomplished, please feel free to share them with the team either via site messaging or posting here. Thank you.
@Support, we have added in notes for each subforum in English as well as fixed both Rogue and Knight posts in the character class FAQ. Thank for alerting me to both issues.
