Like all pets, they have some needs. They need to be kept fed, healthy, need to be happy, and sometimes may need Mana. How do you know which one your pet is in need of?

The Red Bar is the Pet's HP. The Blue Bar is the Pet's MP. The bar below it is the Pet's EXP.
The Red Circle is the Pets Hunger. The Pink Circle is the pet's Sincerity.

III. Armor & Weapons.

There are three pet tribes: Animal, Human, and Demon. They all have different types of equips they can wear and they can't wear a type of armor that isn't for their tribe. Items range from Level 1 to Level 165. In order to get the most out of your pet equips you should unseal them with a Magnifying glass to give extra stats.
Armor and Weapons can be equipped to their P2 pets in their respective slots:

1. Animal Type Equips:
Only Animal Tribe can wear these equips. Animal-Kind can only wear claws OR teeth, not both.
Claw
Teeth
Charm
Aura

2. Human Type Equips:
Only Human Tribe pets can wear these equips. They can only Equip a Staff, Mace or Hammer, NOT all three!
Staff
Mace
Hammer
Hat
Armor

3. Demon Type Equips:
Only Demon Tribe pets can wear these equips.
Claws
Tattoo
Wings

IV. Targeting Arrows.

Targeting Arrows are a way of automating skills inside the Pet AI . The arrow colors differentiate between their purposes. Target Protection: Target the enemy within 20M that is attacking the owner
Target Counter-Strike: Target the enemy that is attacking the pet withing 20M

V. Setting Up Pet AI.

Setting up a Pet AI requires an understanding of what each portion of the layout can do, and of Targeting Arrows (Aka AI Targets).
Lets get started by learning our AI layout:

1. AI Target ON/OFF:
This is the on/off switch for the entire AI. When the lightbulb is gray or "off", it will auto-attack anything their owner attacks, and nothing else. However, when the lightbulb is yellow or "on" it will only execute the settings it has in the second panel. The priority of the action is based on the order it is put into the settings.
For example: The pet will heal itself before it picks up items.

2. AI Target Options:
This section opens the panel towards the side of the main pet menu. This is where you enter the Arrows, Skills, and Actions you want your pet to take.

3. AI Setting ON/OFF:
This is the box with the check mark. You manually have to check this box, it will not do it automatically. If this box is unchecked it will not execute the function that was put in that row.

4. AI Target (Targeting Arrow) Type:
This is where you pull the arrow of choice. Arrows are only compatible with certain types of skills or actions.
For example: You can not use the "[P2] Pick Up" option with a "Target Pet Loyalty" Arrow.

5. Targeting Arrow Function:
This is what you want the Targeting Arrow to do. This is it's function. As long as the type of skill or action you use is compatible, it can be put here. If what you are trying to place in this box is Invalid, it will give you an error message and remove the Function and the Arrow. P2 Pet skills can be put here, for example the first and second row of the image above. As well as the [P2] Actions, [Pet] Actions will not work.

6. AI Setting Completion:
This button locks in your changes to your pet's AI. You must click this button every time you edit the AI settings or it will not change.

Other Questions

How many AI Setting Slots can my pet have?
We are not completely sure on why Pet AIs vary with the amount of Setting slots, but most P2 Pets can have anywhere between 1 to 4 setting slots (3 slots being the most common).

Is there any way I can unlock more slots for my Pet?
No, there is currently no available method of adding more settings slots to your pet.

Do all P2 pets have AI Settings?
No, EXP pets do not have any AI.

Where can I find the pet actions?
Press "J" and scroll towards the bottom of the "J" menu to locate the [P2] Actions. It'll look like this:

Where do I find my pet's skills?
It is found in the pet menu (P or ALT+P) and the second tab, underneath the "Basic" Tab.
