Storage for bound items

Should there be a separate storage for bound items only?

Bound Item Storage

Based off a comment on my other idea here made by Surestrike



A separate storage system solely for any character bound items / event items. Can only be used by the character that the items are bound to, meaning that even though there are multiple characters on the account, for example, your level 185 titan storing a character bound weapon cannot see or retrieve it on your level 85 healer. As such, your level 85 healer storing a character bound armor stone from the phoenix quest-line cannot see or retrieve it on your level 185 titan.
The storage system would be called something like, Ethereal storage... an unusual and highly misunderstood magic practice used on items bound to individuals.

THE NPC PLAYERS CAN TALK TO IN ORDER TO USE STORAGE, LIKE BIANCA (or if created as a separate instance) LIKE GUILD ROOM NPC:

Curiosity- How would it work as a skill? a skill given to all classes? Guild skill? I think implementing as a skill would be too much overall. I would hate to see it get implemented the same way becoming a merchant was.

I think it should just be an extra storage option at Bianca, rather than creating something completely new. (i.e after clicking on storekeeper, first option could be access shared storage, second option access personal storage)

Shared being between all characters on your account, personal being (obviously) bound items for just that character.

Overall I think its a good idea, would be a good improvement considering the amount of character bound items in game. Weps, phoenix quest line items, keys that drop in the new tomb etc. These items take up massive amounts of valuable inventory space if you don't use them immediately, which in turn can prevent you from doing events, such as mad monster spawn because you cant pick anything up due to no space.

I didn't like the idea of a skill option much but wanted to include it anyway, in case anyone had their own opinions or ideas to branch off. I figured it could be like the shop mode option, almost. Click it and a storage window appears. Maybe "skill" wasn't the right word lmao.
The extra storage would be a good idea, maybe a second "tab" on the Bianca's interface dedicated to bound items.

What I would prefer is a separate NPC I would rather not have some bad coding cause issues between person storage and account storage. I don't mind going the skill route as long as it is NOT level limited like the merchant account. I don't even see a minimum of level 50 as being a problem as long as there is NOT an upper limit like the merchant skill. If it is a skill it needs to go through the regular skill system not the merchant skill system. Frankly at lower levels you just don't have a lot of character bound items like you do at higher levels. All that being said I will take this storage in whatever form and with any NPC I can get it with. Yes repeating NOT an upper limit was intentional.

lol, you'd have to be extremely bad to end up mixing two entirely different systems. (Yes I know in terms on LC, it's not far off)

Bianca offering 2 options that lead to two similar interfaces but allowing storage of different types of items (1 being shared, 1 being personal for bound items) is the cleanest way to have it.

What also doesn't hurt is allowing players to store bound items in bianca (shared storage), by allotting a name to the given item of the player to which its bound. And then preventing other characters (who are not the original owner of the bound item) from withdrawing it. And this... I can see LC messing up :)

I like the KISS method. Lets go for something simple that will work. Not trying to label staff, just saying that something simple increases our chances for implementation and success afterwards.
