Help to fix Last Chaos - List your broken skills

Dear Irisians,

For too long these issues have gone unresolved, I think its mighty time these simple things are fixed. I don't think it would require re-inventing the wheel, but rather changing a few lines of codes.

This thread is aimed at just keeping this issue front and center, so as it doesn't become one of those things that are "out of sight, out of mind".
Lets keep this thread going for as long as can be on the front page so that CMs/GMs can see and have the issues constantly reported to the devs.

Class skills are one of the most important aspects of the game, and if basic skills are broken, it completely ruins the experience and quality of life for players.

So please, list your class skills that are; Completely broken, rendered useless because of Elemental attributes, does not do what is in the description etc. You can update your comment as you recall or observe more broken skills. Please keep thread civil <3.

I will start with Arch Witch since this is my most played class.


BlindFear: Blinds target (In Pve, makes targets retreat from caster)
Issue: Adds elemental defense 1 to target, however both effects are removed once the target is hit making both blindness and the elemental debuff useless. This is unlike how Blind works on regular witch, which requires the effect to be remedied or complete its duration.

Invoke: Set skill - Increases casting of user or party members
Issue: Appears to do nothing but consume MP

p1 skills

id like to see p1 skills get fixed or modded . p1 pony ,the animations and sounds are missing and it was never able to hit but I used it anyway . ( it bites and kicks )
p1 horse mount , the horse waves are missing , no sound . I am unsure how hurt p1 dragon is or not . ( no sound ) ?
not exactly skills but to me they were . special note , if a mob got kicked by a p1 pony it would drop its hit points drastically .
I guess the p1 skills never got finished properly , a real shame as it looks doable .

Sonic break specialist
Unable to pick up items for 2 seconds after sonic breaking. Really annoying when you have haste because the duration to picking up items stays the same so it's even worse

Assasin rogue death motion

The skill death motion of assasin rogue's glitches your character, meaning that you can't get out unless you use some sort of recall or relogg.

Hello, here are some suggestions that I would like to be implemented for a better gaming experience.

Cleric

Encourage and Charm : Cleric is a good support during team fight as she can keep her allies alive for a long time. She also has skills like Encourage and Charm to boost the damage output given by her teammate and these skills will alter the elemental defense upon usage. However, getting a random level 1 elemental defense and receiving damages with lvl 2 or 3 elemental attack destroys the toon with these buffs. It will be great if the elemental defense alteration be removed or adding a random level 3 elemental defense instead, so that these skills will be usable.

Holy bless : A wonderful buff that helps new players to farm SP and also leveling as this skill provides extra EXP and SP. As we know, the level 7 holy bless requires stones of wise in order to be used. But the buff lasts for 30 minutes and it does not worth spending gold for a 5% difference in EXP and SP gain compared to a level 6 holy bless. I suggest that we change the duration of the buff to 1 hour. It will be nice because Clerics can join the windy buffers and contribute something :)

Mana shield 2 : Same reasoning as Encourage and Charm due to the elemental defense alteration upon usage.

Mana heal : This skill is quite useful to restore the mana of your allies, but it consumes 400 MP and only heals 800 MP, making it useless to be casted on the cleric herself. She only restores 400 MP and the skill animation is quite long, people rather use a decent MP potions like Owl's tablet of mental recovery. So this skill becomes useless. Maybe we can reduce the cast animation like Heal master and Party heal master, and increase the total amount of restored mana.

Healing of miracle : Having a constant health regeneration is important when we fight strong monsters and also during pvp/siege. This skill could come in handy if the effect duration is longer, like 2 minutes instead of 7 seconds for example, because it consumes stones of wise and it is not worth spending gold for so little HP restored during this 7 seconds. High level characters can have between 100k to 200k HP and I doubt that instantly heals 7500 HP upon usage changes anything, knowing that in pvp for example, we receive 20k damage and up to one shot dead with 200k HP. It will be wise to re-work this skill.

Elementalist

Summon Earth/Fire/Water/Wind elemental : These units have interesting skills which help alot during grinding and pvp, making everyone realize the existance of elementalists. However, they can hardly survive against high level monsters/bosses and die with one hit during pvp even with Mana screen on and maxed passive skills for Summon high Earth/Fire/Water/Wind elemental. Plus, the movement speed of these elementals is terrible. With super haste potion, the elementals can't catch up his owner and they dissapear when the gap from the owner is too far. What does the Elementalist means without the elementals ? Maybe we need to give these elementals armor where we can put jewels on it and let them have the same movement speed as their owner.

Vital conversion 2 : The max amount of HP restored on elementals is 1000. Let's say a person melded five lvl 15 Quartz Tigers' eye which give 7500 extra HP on the elementals, healing that amount of HP with a long casting speed while receiving ridiculous amount of damage during pvp makes this skill useless. Imagine if the person put a lvl 20 or higher jewel on the gear, the caster restores next to nothing.

Attack and movement speed of the elementalist : While other characters can reach 3 to 0 attack speed, 20 to 30 movement speed with basic buffs, elementalist can't catch up to these numbers. Please re-work on this so that elementalist can surface and actually plays a role during pvp ( and make them easier to fight the monsters ), not just a kind of NPC who sits in town and buff other players.

Specialist

Earthsea/Firewind evocation : These skills are primodial for a specialist to either destroy his enemies or stays at the frontline to face his enemies. However, guild adrenaline skill and gear buffs can't be used when these skills are activated. It gives a great disadvantage to specialists to inactivate the skill, use gear buff or guild buff during fight and retransform as there is a bug like we can't switch gear to use other gear's buffs and need to wait for a few seconds before it becomes possible. I find that specialist is so vulnerable at this point. Please make it possible to cast gear buffs and guild adrenaline during transformation.

Sonic break : Specialist is the best at controlling the crowd while he's in Earthsea evocation. But the fact that he can't use potions right after the Sonic break's animation ends makes them hard to cure, heal and dies easily. This bug should be worked on.

Nightshadow

Aura of illusion : The skill is supposed to increase the magic hit rate but I find no difference when hitting monsters with or without the buff.

Theo's tomb class buff : The buff increases Nightshadows and his party members' chance of critical hit. This prevents deadly hits to appear even with a reformed 170-172 gear or a mixed 186-189 gear. Maybe it should be replaced with other buff, an increase attack power maybe ?


I believe that many of us share the same opinion here and I hope that the idea that we have will actually be taken into consideration and worked on so that this thread won't be something that we fantasize, but an actual initiative to make Last chaos better.

A recommendation for Elemental Skills

I have a recommendation for Buffing Skills that adds an Elemental Defense.

Issue: Currently we have certain character buffs that also alters the target's elemental defense level and in most cases this can have a negative impact on the receiver. When payers are lower levels and utilize this buff, without having an elemental defense jewel in armor, you can see how this skill would give an added benefit. However, once a player adds anything above a level 1 Elemental defense jewel, then the skill buff overwrites the armor jewel.


Solution: Buff Skills with Elemental attributes can change a character's elemental defense, however, it cannot alter the level of the armor defense jewel once it exceeds 1. Example. If you are equipped with a Level 2 Fluorite (level 2 light defense), then a buff skill buff can change the elemental defense to either Earth, Fire, Storm, Ice or Darkness but does not affect the level of the equipped Jewel. In this case you can have even a level 3 elemental defense jewel in armor and can still utilize your buffs.


*DE-BUFFS CAN STILL OVERWRITE ELEMENTAL DEFENSE LEVELS
